Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional deliveries
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines and optimize fuel usage
- Complete accurate documentation (BOLs, delivery confirmations, logs)
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time schedule adjustments
- Uphall all DOT/FMCSA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Proven experience operating box trucks (24-26ft) required
- Reliable box truck in good mechanical condition
- Strong knowledge of Louisiana roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication apps
- Commercial insurance coverage (1M liability)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
