Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks for local and regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Ensure timely pickups and adherence to delivery schedules
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch for route optimization
- Uphold safety compliance and DOT regulations
- Manage customer service interactions during deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with hazmat endorsement (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Reliable box truck (24-26ft) with valid registration
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Knowledge of Alaska road conditions and terrain
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
