Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely and efficiently for local/regional routes
- Maintain clean DOT-compliant vehicles and complete pre/post-trip inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch team for timely deliveries and pickups
- Manage documentation including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
- Optimize routes to ensure on-time performance and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Track mileage and expenses for accurate reporting
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Reliable box truck (2010+ model) with proper insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Independent contractor status required
