Responsibilities
- Safely operate box truck (26-28ft) for local/regional freight delivery
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage loading/unloading coordination at warehouse locations
- Optimize routes for efficient delivery and fuel conservation
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year box truck experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- DOT medical certification
- Reliable 26-28ft box truck in good working condition
- Smartphone with GPS and reliable communication
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
