Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently within the Scottsdale metro area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Secure cargo using straps, blankets, and other tie-down equipment to prevent damage.
- Complete all required paperwork, including Bill of Lading (BOL) and delivery receipts, accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedule changes and delivery updates.
- Maintain a professional appearance and clean driving record at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class B) required.
- Proven experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles.
- Must possess commercial auto insurance and current registration.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to DOT/FMCSA regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills for customer interaction.
