Responsibilities
- Operate box truck to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated delivery points in Santa Ana and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and delivery paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel regarding route changes or delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck at all times.
Qualifications
- Must own and maintain a reliable Box Truck (Chassis or Straight Truck).
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred but not mandatory for qualified operators.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
