Responsibilities
- Secure, load, and transport freight safely and efficiently within the region.
- Inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it meets safety standards and company appearance requirements.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch via our remote platform to update on status and delays.
- Provide excellent customer service during pickup and delivery interactions.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Complete and submit accurate delivery paperwork and digital logs on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proof of current liability insurance and cargo insurance.
- Own or lease a reliable box truck (10-26 feet) in good working condition.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with mobile technology.
- Experience with dispatch software or logistics management is a plus.
