Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries while maintaining strict compliance with DOT regulations
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel costs
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Manage client communications, delivery confirmations, and documentation via our digital platform
- Coordinate with dispatch team to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve route disruptions
- Uphold company standards for customer service during all delivery interactions
- Submit weekly invoices and mileage reports through our remote-friendly portal
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience with box trucks
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability coverage)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency with smartphone apps for navigation and digital documentation
- Strong time-management skills with ability to work independently
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Reliable personal vehicle for non-commercial travel needs
