Responsibilities
- Operate box truck safely and efficiently on assigned routes
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for route optimization
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Manage on-time delivery performance metrics
- Communicate proactively with clients and team
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with box truck endorsement
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- DOT medical certification and clean driving record
- Reliable box truck (24-26ft) in good condition
- Basic GPS navigation and smartphone proficiency
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Commercial insurance coverage ($1M liability)
