Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks (24-26ft) safely and efficiently across designated routes
- Manage loading/unloading procedures with precision and care
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and real-time GPS tracking updates
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections ensuring DOT compliance
- Optimize routes to minimize fuel consumption and maximize delivery efficiency
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Coordinate with dispatch team for seamless load transitions
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Reliable 24-26ft box truck in excellent condition
- Proficient with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
