Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely and efficiently on dedicated regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal scheduling and route planning
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Uphold exceptional customer service standards during client interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize fuel efficiency and route performance metrics
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Strong knowledge of Raleigh-Durham metro area and surrounding regions
- Reliable personal box truck (26-28 ft) in excellent condition
- Commercial insurance coverage meeting $1M liability minimum
- Smartphone with reliable internet access for dispatch app
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Professional communication and time management skills
