Responsibilities
- Operate box truck in a safe and timely manner to deliver freight to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring all items are protected from damage.
- Maintain accurate logs (electronic or manual) and adhere to all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle readiness.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class B) or equivalent commercial vehicle operator's permit.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a commercial vehicle.
- Ownership or reliable access to a Class A or Class B Box Truck (GVW 26,001 lbs or less).
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and ability to use handheld devices for GPS and dispatching.
