Responsibilities
- Operate Vehicle: Safely and efficiently operate a box truck to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Route Planning: Plan efficient routes to maximize delivery windows and minimize fuel consumption.
- Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure the truck remains in peak operating condition.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and receivers, ensuring a high standard of service and satisfaction.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Documentation: Accurately complete and maintain all necessary delivery logs, bills of lading, and tax paperwork.
Qualifications
- CDL License: Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Prior experience in flatbed or box truck driving is preferred but not required for our paid training program.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with dispatch and clients.
- Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards.
- Availability: Willingness to travel regionally and work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
- Equipment: Access to a well-maintained box truck (lease options available).
