Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks (26' or less) to transport goods to designated delivery points in Orlando and surrounding areas.
- Ensure the safe loading, securing, and unloading of cargo to prevent damage or loss.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, delivery receipts, and mileage records for accounting purposes.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance and report any maintenance needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and receivers during every delivery.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Own and maintain a clean, reliable 26' Box Truck (GVW 26,000 lbs or less).
- Valid Commercial Driverβs License (CDL) Class A or B (Class B often sufficient for Box Trucks).
- Achieve and maintain a clean motor vehicle record (MVR) and pass a DOT physical exam.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial vehicle.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight shifts if required.
- Strong communication skills, professional demeanor, and a commitment to safety.
