Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional deliveries within Austin metro area
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Communicate with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage route optimization for timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain (training provided)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Basic mechanical aptitude and vehicle maintenance knowledge
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Reliable transportation to/from depot locations
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
