Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver goods across designated routes in Chandler and surrounding areas
- Perform pre-trip inspections and document maintenance logs to ensure DOT compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize delivery schedules and maintain on-time performance
- Load/unload cargo with precision using appropriate equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication logs
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety regulations at all times
- Represent SwiftLogistics with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience with verifiable references
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong route planning skills and knowledge of Arizona roadways
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
