Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely on dedicated regional routes between Fort Wayne and Midwest distribution hubs
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Inspect and report vehicle maintenance needs before/during/after trips
- Coordinate with dispatch team for timely deliveries and pickup scheduling
- Ensure proper cargo securement and documentation compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Utilize GPS tracking systems for route optimization and ETA updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1-year OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Basic navigation skills with familiarity to Midwest region
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to Fort Wayne terminal
- Strong communication and time management skills
