Responsibilities
- Operate your own box truck to deliver freight safely and on time within the Louisville metro area and surrounding regions.
- Secure your own clients and negotiate rates directly, or utilize our network for guaranteed freight.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Handle loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring proper securement.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage and delivery logs.
- Represent the company professionally to customers and partners.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent Box Truck license.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT compliant insurance.
- A clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Proven experience in local delivery or logistics operations.
- Reliable, self-motivated personality with strong time management skills.
- Access to a reliable, well-maintained box truck (or ability to acquire one).
