Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local and regional freight delivery
- Manage daily route planning and delivery schedules efficiently
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Build strong client relationships through professional on-time service
- Optimize routes to maximize fuel efficiency and minimize empty miles
- Coordinate with dispatch team for seamless load coordination
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Proof of commercial truck insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Reliable 24-26ft box truck in good mechanical condition
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles County roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs regularly for loading/unloading
- Basic smartphone proficiency for app-based dispatch communication
- Entrepreneurial mindset with business management skills
- DOT medical certification and required documentation
