Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks (16' - 26') in a safe and professional manner.
- Load and unload freight using proper lifting techniques and dock dolly equipment.
- Ensure cargo is secured and protected during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork (BOL, POD, IFTA).
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Adhere to all local and federal traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent Class A/B commercial experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable box truck driving experience.
- Must own or lease a reliable, well-maintained box truck suitable for freight hauling.
- Must hold valid DOT medical card and insurance.
- Strong commitment to safety and accident-free driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing freight schedules and routes.
