Responsibilities
- Safely Operate: Drive the box truck in a professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Cargo Handling: Secure cargo during loading and unload it efficiently and safely at the destination.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to clients, ensuring packages are handled with care and professionalism.
- Maintenance: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is road-ready.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and digital paperwork as required by regulations.
- Route Planning: Utilize GPS and route planning tools to ensure timely deliveries and avoid delays.
Qualifications
- CDL Class B: Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Proven experience driving box trucks or straight trucks in a logistics environment.
- Ownership: You must own and maintain your own box truck with valid insurance and registration.
- Equipment: Must have a well-maintained truck suitable for freight hauling.
