Responsibilities
- Safely load and secure cargo to ensure delivery integrity.
- Complete all required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and paperwork.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays or route changes.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL (if applicable to specific fleet) or valid Straight Truck license.
- Current commercial auto insurance and liability coverage.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to lift and maneuver cargo of varying weights.
- Professional communication skills and customer-service mindset.
- Reliable smartphone with GPS and data capabilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
