Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks (10-26ft) for local and regional deliveries in the Houston area.
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently using proper equipment.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the vehicle.
- Complete daily logs and paperwork accurately (if required).
- Provide excellent customer service to shippers and receivers.
- Plan routes to ensure timely delivery and fuel efficiency.
Qualifications
- Must own a clean, well-maintained box truck (10-26ft).
- Valid Driver's License (Class A or B may be required depending on freight).
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR check will be performed).
- Current DOT Medical Card (if applicable to the load).
- Ability to lift and move cargo up to 50 lbs (if applicable).
- Reliable communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Experience with freight dispatch and logistics is a plus.
