Responsibilities
- Operate a 26ft or 53ft Box Truck to transport goods safely and efficiently within the assigned regional lanes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery receipts (BOL), logs, and all required daily paperwork.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring cargo is handled with care and delivered on schedule.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and minor repairs to keep equipment in top working condition.
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent commercial driver's license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience as an Owner Operator or professional driver.
- Proven track record of safe driving with a clean DMV record and no serious traffic violations.
- Must own or have access to a reliable, well-maintained Box Truck.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination (drug screen required).
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
