Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional deliveries in San Jose and surrounding Bay Area
- Plan efficient routes to meet tight delivery deadlines while optimizing fuel usage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading processes
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and California traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability coverage)
- Reliable box truck (24-26ft) in good mechanical condition
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area roadways and navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Drug-free certification and willingness to undergo background check
- Self-motivated with punctual and dependable work ethic
