Responsibilities
- Safely operate 24' box trucks on regional routes within 300-mile radius
- Complete 3-5 deliveries daily with average 8-hour shifts
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Handle specialized freight (temperature-sensitive, fragile items)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- DOT medical certification current
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and route planning abilities
- Smartphone with reliable data for app-based dispatch
