Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely, adhering to weight restrictions and securing loads properly.
- Deliver freight to designated locations in St. Petersburg and surrounding areas on time.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pick-up and drop-off transactions.
- Represent the company professionally at all times and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Must own a 26-foot Box Truck (GVW 26,000 lbs or higher).
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with proper endorsements preferred.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations.
- Experience with local delivery and freight handling is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and early mornings.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to navigate the St. Petersburg area efficiently.
