Responsibilities
- Safely operate box truck for local/regional deliveries within 300-mile radius
- Adhere to DOT regulations and perform daily vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and proof of service
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight using proper equipment
- Communicate proactively with clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in last 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Proof of commercial vehicle insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable box truck (26ft max) in good mechanical condition
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Must reside within 50 miles of St. Louis metro area
