Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely and efficiently for local/regional freight transport
- Manage route optimization, scheduling, and delivery timelines
- Maintain vehicle compliance, inspections, and documentation
- Build client relationships through professional service delivery
- Coordinate with dispatch team for seamless load coordination
- Track mileage, expenses, and revenue for business reporting
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Reliable box truck (24-26ft) in good operational condition
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability including evenings/weekends as needed
