Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local and regional freight deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimized routing and scheduling
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage inventory handling and secure loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Basic mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle maintenance
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Smartphone proficiency for communication and navigation apps
- Reliable personal transportation for equipment access
- Commercial liability insurance coverage (minimum $1M)
