Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal route planning
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage inventory and secure cargo according to safety protocols
- Submit timely invoices and expense reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Own or willing to acquire a DOT-compliant box truck
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Reliable smartphone with GPS and data access
- Pass background check and drug screening
