Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages, meals, and retail items to Portland residences and businesses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness/maintenance
- Optimize routes using GPS technology for timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions
- Communicate delivery status updates via mobile app
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year driving experience (commercial driving a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Portland streets and neighborhoods
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication apps
- Reliable transportation to/from starting location
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be available for morning/afternoon/evening shifts
