Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional deliveries within Plano/Dallas metro
- Plan efficient routes using provided GPS navigation and traffic apps
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Handle loading/unloading with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Communicate delivery status via real-time tracking systems
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Reliable late-model box truck (24-26ft) with valid insurance
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- Basic mechanical knowledge for routine maintenance
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Smartphone with data plan for communication apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
