Responsibilities
- Operate personal box truck for local/regional deliveries within 200-mile radius
- Manage end-to-end logistics: loading, routing, unloading, and documentation
- Maintain strict adherence to delivery schedules and safety protocols
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding ETAs
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to HOS regulations
- Submit accurate daily logs and expense reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or heavy-duty commercial driving experience
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
- Reliable 24-26' box truck (2010 or newer preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Tampa Bay geography and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts
- Basic accounting and record-keeping skills
