Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided box trucks for local/regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records via our fleet management system
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT compliance standards
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years verifiable experience)
- Proven box truck or straight truck operation history
- Strong knowledge of Columbus metro area and regional routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication and e-logging
- Reliable transportation to/from daily dispatch location
- Commercial general liability insurance ($1M minimum)
