Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided box truck for local/regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Ensure secure handling and timely delivery of freight
- Adhere to DOT regulations and Alaska state transport laws
- Communicate professionally with clients and dispatch
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly
- Familiarity with Anchorage metro area routes
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Smartphone for ELD compliance and communication
- Must pass DOT physical and background check
