Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck for local and regional freight deliveries
- Manage all aspects of truck maintenance, fueling, and documentation
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate with clients and dispatch regarding shipment status
- Handle bills of lading and delivery confirmations accurately
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Identify opportunities for business growth through customer relationships
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years box truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Entrepreneurial mindset with business ownership experience preferred
