Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26ft box truck in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the truck's interior and exterior.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Must own a 26ft or smaller box truck in good mechanical condition.
- Must have a clean MVR/DUI record and current DOT medical card.
- Must carry current liability and cargo insurance meeting or exceeding company minimums.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable box truck driving experience is preferred.
- Must be self-motivated and capable of managing time effectively.
