Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (26-28ft) for local/regional freight delivery
- Manage pre/post-trip inspections and maintain compliance with DOT regulations
- Optimize routes using provided GPS navigation tools
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load scheduling and pickup/delivery
- Document freight damage and maintain accurate delivery records
- Build client relationships through professional communication
- Ensure proper cargo securement and temperature control requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year box truck experience (26-28ft)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Reliable box truck in good mechanical condition
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs occasionally
- Smartphone with reliable data connectivity
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement
- Must pass background check and drug screening
