Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries in San Diego County
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage cargo loading/unloading procedures with proper handling techniques
- Utilize GPS tracking systems for real-time location updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean MVR (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Reliable late-model box truck (2015 or newer preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Southern California roadways
- Basic accounting/invoicing capabilities
