Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery in Charlotte metro area
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork using our mobile app
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using GPS navigation
- Communicate with clients and dispatch team via remote platforms
- Ensure cargo security and compliance with DOT regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Reliable box truck (24-26 ft) with valid registration and insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate pallet jacks
- Smartphone proficiency for digital dispatch and documentation
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
