Responsibilities
- Operate your own box truck safely and efficiently for local/regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using our digital tracking system
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Optimize routes to maximize efficiency and fuel economy
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding delays or issues
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Reliable late-model box truck (2015+ model) in good mechanical condition
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability coverage minimum)
- Smartphone with reliable data for app-based dispatch communications
- Ability to pass DOT physical and background check
- Strong time management and customer service skills
