Responsibilities
- Operate personal box truck for local/regional deliveries within Austin metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic manifests
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight (no touch freight available)
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years box truck or heavy straight-truck experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Reliable box truck (26ft max) with current commercial insurance
- Smartphone with GPS and data capabilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Knowledge of Austin/central Texas geography
- DOT medical certification
