Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided box trucks for freight delivery in Anchorage and regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each shipment
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and scheduling
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and basic equipment maintenance
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight using provided equipment
- Adhere to DOT regulations and Alaska state transportation laws
- Build strong client relationships through professional service delivery
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Anchorage geography and Alaska road conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Basic mechanical aptitude for preventive maintenance
- Entrepreneurial mindset with self-motivation skills
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
