Responsibilities
- Operate a 26ft Box Truck safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time and within the designated window.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and prevent breakdowns.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo security, proper documentation, and safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records in strict adherence to DOT regulations.
- Represent the company professionally at shipper and receiver locations, maintaining a positive brand image.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delays, traffic conditions, and cargo issues.
Qualifications
- Current Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Box Truck driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as freight demands require.
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to safety and punctuality.
- Reliable communication equipment (smartphone with data plan) is required.
