Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of freight throughout Minneapolis metro and surrounding regions
- Maintain meticulous vehicle records and inspection logs
- Coordinate directly with dispatch for optimized routing and scheduling
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage inventory verification and documentation for each shipment
- Communicate proactively regarding delivery status and potential delays
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years verifiable box truck driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Reliable late-model box truck (24-26ft) in good working condition
- Strong knowledge of Minneapolis metro roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication and navigation
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability minimum)
