Responsibilities
- Safely operate box truck for local/regional deliveries in Scottsdale metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and mileage documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and coordinate preventative maintenance
- Optimize delivery routes using provided GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during on-time deliveries
- Manage inventory and secure cargo according to safety protocols
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team via remote mobile app
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Smartphone with reliable data connection for remote dispatch updates
- Strong knowledge of Arizona roadways and Scottsdale geography
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor troubleshooting
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
