Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely and efficiently on local/regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for optimal load planning and timing
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage fuel expenses and route optimization for maximum profitability
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or similar commercial experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Proof of commercial truck insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Reliable box truck (26' or smaller) in good working condition
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Smartphone with reliable data access for dispatch apps
- Strong time management and customer communication skills
