Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck to transport goods across the Richmond metro area and regional routes
- Plan efficient routes to maximize delivery times and fuel efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and required documentation
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling techniques
- Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (Class A/B preferred but not required)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass background check and DOT physical
- Basic mechanical knowledge (training provided)
- No CDL required - we train on specialized equipment
- Must own or lease your own box truck (26' or smaller)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
