Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods to designated locations within Texas and surrounding states
- Maintain accurate trip logs, vehicle maintenance records, and delivery documentation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle loading/unloading operations when required and verify shipment contents
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Manage vehicle expenses and submit timely expense reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Reliable late-model box truck (24-26ft) in good mechanical condition
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Texas roadways
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement and weight distribution
- Self-motivated with excellent time management abilities
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability minimum)
